Individual Hair Transplant for Eyebrow-plasyt

Abstract
The lack of eyebrows was thought mostly as a stigma of punishment in ancient times or a symptom of leprosy in the orient. It is very important to restore the eyebrows for rehabilitation and the reintegration of patients in normal society.
There are various methods for reconstruction of the eyebrows, but the eyebrowplasty with single-hair-transplant, by which the form of the brow and the hair stream can be controlled, appears to be most satisfactory.
The graft is taken from the scalp in the retroauricular region, and dividing more and more, isolated hairs are carefully prepared without damaging the hair-follicle endbulb. Each hair is implanted by insertion by means of a special needle with a groove, at an angle of 45 degrees, in the proper direction. With this procedure, three cases: an alopecia leprosa, an alopecia areata and a burn scar were overcome with excellent results.
